Marketing consultancy

If you want to get the most out of your marketing with whatever resources you have available, it is about finding the perfect blend of tools. Some of your tools might include:

  • Social media

  • Public relations

  • SEO

  • Advertising - online and print

  • Website creation/improvements

  • E-newsletters

For smaller businesses, the challenge is creating the perfect blend, using the most effective ingredients to produce effective results on budget.

Because I am often the only external consultant, I provide advice on pricing, placement, people, funding, partnerships and various other issues and opportunities facing small businesses.

Review

The starting point is always a review. Where are you now? Where are your competitors? And where do you want to be? Who are your customers? What are your barriers?

Strategy

Then the challenge is finding the right strategy for your business to get you on your way. This is where our creativity and experience will really be evident. Taking into account the tools, budget and anticipated time input, a strategic plan will be created that works for you and will achieve growth.

Implementation

Many clients don't want the commitment of managing social media, blogs and newsletters, so we act as an extension of your team and get on with it for you. We also work with a range of excellent consultants, from web design to SEO, allowing us to tap into the most suitable expertise as and when required, to fulfil all your marketing requirements. Or we can train you so you can deliver it yourself.

Consulting or coaching?

Having supported many start ups, and small businesses, I can act as a general sounding board either in a consultancy or a coaching role - or a combination of both. Advice and direction are part of consulting, while a non-directive, collaborative approach is at the heart of coaching. You may feel you need one or the other, or often relationships move from coaching to consulting, or the other way round. Both are about moving forward. Moving towards greater success in whatever you are doing.
